Intel Corporation (INTC) leaped by +6.97% on Wednesday to $56.95 at the news of the change of CEO. In February, Bob Swan, CEO of the leading microprocessor group, will bow out, overtaken the charge by Pat Gelsinger, VMware’s leader. VMware announced that it had launched the hunt for a new CEO to succeed Gelsinger, who will leave the group on 12 February. Since September 2012, he has been VMware’s CEO. In January 2019, Swan was named director of Intel. For more than 40 years, Gelsinger, 59, has been in the electronics business. The colossus of virtualization solutions doubled in size during his tenure at the helm of the VMware group. Also, Gelsinger will join the board of directors of Intel.

Yesterday, on Tuesday, Alphabet’s affiliate, YouTube, revealed that Trump’s channel has been terminated because of incitement to violence and violating terms of service. YouTube reports that, for a period of seven days, the Trump channel will no longer stream videos or transmit live footage, which can be expanded.

American Tower Corporation (REIT) (AMT) rose by +0.72% to $216.46 on the day. American Tower has reached a deal with Telefonica for the acquisition of towers in Europe and Latin America from the Spanish division of Telxius Telecom. The deal is worth Euros 7.7 billion.
